(Oral) By this petition, the petitioner seeks directions to respondents no.2 to 4 to ensure free, fair and impartial investigation in case FIR no.64, dated 28.3.2021, registered at Police Station City-2, Police District Khanna, District Ludhiana, alleging therein the commission of offences punishable under Sections 307/323/324/326/506/120-B/148/149 of the IPC and Sections 25/54/59 of the Arms Act, 1959.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in respect of his grievance, the petitioner has filed a representation, addressed to the DGP, Punjab, as also the Director, Bureau of Investigation, Punjab, dated 22.9.2021 (copy Annexure P-4), and the petitioner would therefore be satisfied at this stage if the said representation is decided by the Director, Bureau of Investigation, Punjab (respondent no.3), as it has already been marked to him by the DGP.
