Prayer in this writ petition is for quashing of memo dated 14.06.2019 issued by the respondents whereby a sum of `6,17,520/- is raised in the monthly bill of September, 2018 against the petitioner claimed to be arrears towards the outstanding dues. The said bill, it is informed, has swelled to approximately `15,00,000/- upto December 2019. CWP No.26152 of 2019(O&M) [2] availed and the present writ petition has been filed straightway before this Court by the petitioner. Reference in this regard is made to Regulation 7.1 of the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission Regulations, 2016, attached as Annexure P8 with this writ petition. The petitioner, it is submitted, has an efficacious alternate remedy of approaching the Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum and if aggrieved of the order of the said Forum, a further remedy is available to the petitioner before the Electricity Ombudsman. Keeping in view the availability of specific efficacious alternate remedy, no orders are called for in this writ petition, at this stage. The petitioner is at liberty to approach the Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum. In case a complaint is filed by the petitioner within 15 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, the said Forum to consider and decide the matter within six weeks in accordance with law. Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.

No order is required to be passed in any pending applications in view of the above.
