Through this writ petition, the petitioner prays for the release of the Mini Bus Permit No. 3/Rural/Nawanshere/2021 on Nawanshere-Apra via Kariam, Mukandpur, Hakumpur, Hakumpur Repha Route which was granted to him on 23.02.2021.

Mr. Amit Jhanji, Senior Advocate, assisted by Mr. Navdeep Chabbra, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, enters appearance on behalf of the respondents and states on instructions from Mr. S.S.Brar, Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Hoshiarpur, that the petitioner cannot be allowed to have two route permits on one vehicle (transport bus). However, he submits that he has instructions to make a statement that the matter shall be considered and decided by the competent authority within a period of 15 days.
