(ORAL) The petitioners herein are seeking the similar benefit as has been given under CWP No. 25339 of 2015 titled Sukhdhir Singh Sekhon and others vs. State of Punjab and others, decided on 11.03.2016. In fact a notice of demand has already been served by the petitioners upon the office of the Director of Public Instructions (E.E.), Punjab as on 22.12.2016 which is still pending consideration. At the present moment, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners limits his prayer to an early consideration and decision of the demand notice dated 22.12.2016 (Annexure P-18).
I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners and without going into the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider and decide the demand notice dated 22.12.2016 (Annexure P-18) served by the petitioners upon No.2, by passing a speaking order in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. CWP No. 9946 of 2017 -2In case, the petitioners are found entitled to the relief as raised by them on the basis of the judgment rendered in CWP No. 25339 of 2015 titled Sukhdhir Singh Sekhon and others vs. State of Punjab and others, the necessary relief be granted to them within a period of two months thereafter.
