At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned State Counsel, both conjointly submit, before this Court, that after completion of investigation into FIR No. 393 of 19.11.2020 (Annexure P-1), registered at Police Station Jandiala, District Amritsar, rather the Investigating Officer concerned, has instituted a cancellation report, before the learned Magistrate concerned.

Therefore, in view of the above, and, at this stage, the present petition, claiming relief of quashing of FIR (supra), becomes rendered infructuous.

Consequently, the instant petition, at this stage, is disposed of as having become rendered infructuous.

However, the learned Magistrate concerned, is directed to, within two months hereafter, in accordance with law, decide the afore cancellation report, and, also the objections, if any, raised thereto by the aggrieved. In case, the petitioners are still aggrieved, they can avail the appropriate remedy in accordance with law.
