Ms. Shubhra Singh, Additional Advocate General, Haryana. *** The case has been taken up through Video Conferencing. Petitioner Madan Singh, working as Legal Assistant with Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa has brought the instant writ petition against respondents State of Haryana through Additional Chief Secretary, Education Department, Chandigarh, Additional Chief Secretary, Finance Department, Chandigarh and Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa craving for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to grant him pay scale at par with Haryana Civil Secretariat Employees w.e.f. the date of his joining in terms of decision dated 28.4.

1987 taken by High Powered Co-ordination Committee for development and Administration of Universities in State of Haryana vide which non-teaching employees of Universities in Haryana have been granted pay scale at par with Haryana Civil Secretariat Employees. The petitioner is further praying for redesignation of the post held by him as Legal Assistant to Superintendent PARVINDER SINGH 2021.09.

CWP No. 19521 of 2021 (Legal). According to the petitioner, he had submitted a representation (Annexure P-11) to Vice Chancellor of Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa dated 4.8.2010 on receipt of which his demand was conceded partly but not fully.

Keeping in view the nature of the dispute between the parties as well as prayer made by the petitioner, for the purpose of enabling respondent No. 3 to consider the claim of petitioner and then to take appropriate action, if need be and further to avoid unnecessary litigation, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No. 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law, rules, regulations and instructions on the subject within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of the order and if some action in the matter is warranted then the needful be done in accordance with law. A speaking order in that regard be passed which be conveyed to the petitioner. (H.S.
