(Oral) Present appeal emanates from an order passed by the Guardian Judge, Jalandhar, whereby, custody of the child was handed over to the respondenthusband. Petition of the mother was dismissed with costs. Admittedly, the child namely Ria is now more than 17 years of age and a student of 11th Class (Humanities) with HMV College, Jalandhar.

A report has also been submitted by the Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Jalandhar, according to which the child is capable to take decisions on her own. Thus, it appears no case for interference by this court is made out. The petition is thus dismissed. There is no orders as to costs.
