(ORAL) Petition herein, inter alia, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing respondents No.2 and 3 to decide the representation dated 05.08.2022 (Annexure P-7) regarding release of service/death benefits of father of the petitioner, namely, Late Sh. Mohinder Singh @ Mahender Singh.

On advance service, learned State counsel appears and submits at the outset that a decision will be taken by the competent authority, either way, on the pending representation of the petitioner by passing a speaking order.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner also seeks decision on the pending representation, as suggested by learned State counsel.
