(ORAL) It is informed by learned counsel appearing for the respondent that the present writ petition has become infructuous on account of the practice directions regarding expeditious trial of cases under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 having been framed and circulated by them vide communication dated 30.11.2021 which is taken on record and marked as 'X'.

Learned counsel for the petitioner on examining the same submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the writ petition which has been rendered infructuous in view of the instructions issued by the respondent. Prayer made is allowed.

The writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn on having become infructuous.
