The petitioner incarcerated in the FIR captioned above, has come up before this Court under Section 439 CrPC seeking bail.

Allegations against the petitioner are that being working as SFO in the office of Fire Brigade, Malerkotla, he took bribe under the pretext of providing jobs in the said department.

Vide order dated 01.09.2023, the petitioner was granted interim bail subject to complying with some conditions.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that they have voluntarily complied with the order dated 01.09.2023 and handed over the affidavits to the State counsel. 5.

Counsel for the State, on instructions does not dispute the contention made by counsel for the petitioner.
