The petitioners have availed house loan from the respondentBank and the amount due as on date is `13.80 lacs. On March 23, 2018 the petitioners were directed to deposit a sum of `1.00 lac within two weeks and also give 'One Time Settlement' proposal, as they have a small residential house measuring 50 square yards, which is mortgaged with the Bank. The petitioners have deposited the said amount of `1.00 lac but on 14.05.2018 only. They have now given 'One Time Settlement' proposal to pay `5,000/- per month, which is not acceptable to the respondent-Bank. In this view of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to Meenu 2018.05.25 10:27 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh give a fresh proposal for 'One Time Settlement' within two weeks from the

However, if the petitioners do not give any fresh proposal within two weeks, the Bank shall be at liberty to proceed against them as per law.
