With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the main case is taken on Board today itself.

The prayer made in the present petition is for quashing the orders dated 21.12.2011, 02.07.2012 and 18.07.2012, Annexures P-22 to P-24 respectively, as these orders do not grant to the petitioners posts of PAS Class-1 and PAS Class-2 (Statistical Wing) the same pay scales, which have been given to the equivalent posts in the Administrative Wing. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submit that since the matter is squarely covered by the judgment dated 06.10.2017 passed in CWP-25517 of 2012, titled as Dr. Rajnit Singh and others versus State of Punjab and others, DINESH 2025.02.04 22:30 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CM-1459-CWP-2025 in/and CWP-25157-2019 (O&M) - 2against which LPA-1423 of 2018 that was filed by the State, has since been dismissed, vide judgment dated 15.03.2023, the same may be disposed of in terms of it, to which learned State counsel despite her best efforts has been unable to controvert the factual position and draw out any distinctive aspects in the aforementioned judgments or cite any contrary law. 4.

In wake of the aforesaid, the present petition is disposed of in terms of the judgment passed in Ranjit Singh (supra). 5.
