ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN J. (Oral) Counsel for the petitioner, after arguing the matter for some time, restricts his argument to the extent that the trial Court be directed to conclude the trial expeditiously. Counsel for the State, on instructions from SI Hardeep Singh, submits that out of 37 prosecution witnesses, 11 PWs have already been examined and 07 PWs are given up. In view of the above, this petition is disposed of and the trial Court is directed to conclude the trial expeditiously preferably within a period of 09 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

The Senior Superintendent of Police, Mohali, is directed to ensure that the entire prosecution evidence is concluded within a period of 06 months from today and the trial Court will conclude the trial within a period of 03 months thereafter.

Disposed of accordingly.
