Learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his submission only for protection of life and liberty of petitioner without pressing for any other relief claimed in this petition or in representation (Annexure P-4) made to Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana.

Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.3-Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana to look into the grievance of petitioner with regard to threat to her life and liberty, verify the same and take appropriate action in accordance with law.

However, it is made clear that the above order will not be interpreted as providing protection to petitioner from any action taken in any civil, criminal or any other proceedings initiated/pending against her in accordance with law.
