(Oral) The present petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.119 dated 04.06.2025, under Sections 110, 115(2), 118(1), 126(2), 3(5), 351(2) of BNS, registered at Police Station Radaur, District Yamuna Nagar, and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise dated 09.06.2025 (Annexure P-2).

This Court vide order dated 12.09.2025 had directed the parties to appear before the trial Court to get their statements recorded and the learned Magistrate was directed to send report qua genuineness of the compromise.

Pursuant to the aforesaid order, parties appeared before the learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Yamuna Nagar at Jagadhri, and got their statements recorded. On the basis of statements so recorded, learned Magistrate has submitted report dated 29.09.2025 to the effect that the SANGEETA 2025.11.07 16:02 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-37182-2025 compromise has been effected between the parties voluntarily and without any coercion or undue influence.

Learned State Counsel as well as counsel for respondent Nos. 2 & 3 have not disputed the factum of compromise between the parties. In view of the above, no useful purpose would be served to continue with the proceedings before the trial Court in the instant FIR. Following the principles laid down by the Full Bench Judgment of this Court in Kulwinder Singh and others Vs. State of Punjab and another 2007(3) RCR (Criminal) 1052 and approved by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Gian Singh Vs. State of Punjab and others (2012) 10 SCC 303, the present petition is allowed and FIR No.119 dated 04.06.2025, under Sections 110, 115(2), 118(1), 126(2), 3(5), 351(2) of BNS, registered at Police Station Radaur, District Yamuna Nagar, and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated dated 09.06.2025 (Annexure P-2) are quashed qua the petitioners.
