**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J.(Oral) Learned Advocate General Punjab on instructions from Sh. G.S. Khaira, Director, Department of Rural Development and Panchayat submits that notification No.61/P.A.9/1994/S.29A/2023 dated 10.08.2023 will be withdrawn by the State within two days.

Learned Advocate General Punjab further submits that as a result of the aforesaid proposed withdrawal of notification, notifications issued in pursuance thereof under Sections 29-A, 114-A and 178-A shall also be withdrawn.

Resultantly, this writ petition is ordered to be rendered infructuous.
