The present petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been filed for quashing of FIR No.70 dated 23.05.2022 registered under Sections 336 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, (for short, 'IPC'), and Section 27 of the Arms Act, at Police Station Shri Hargobindpur, District Batala, and all other consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties. 2.

Vide order dated 27.09.2022, the parties were directed to appear before the learned trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate, for getting their statements recorded; as to the genuineness of the compromise. In compliance thereof, report of the Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Batala, dated 07.02.2023, has been received, wherein, it has been submitted that the parties did not appear VIRENDRA SINGH ADHIKARI 2023.08.05 11:18 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab and Haryana High Court at Chandigarh
