The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of FIR No.83 dated 21.08.2019 registered under Sections 376-AB & 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 at Police Station Women Rohtak, District Rohtak (Annexure P-1) and all subsequent proceedings arising out of the said FIR, on the basis of a compromise.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner in the present case has since been acquitted by the Addl. Sessions Judge-cumPOCSO Court, Rohtak vide judgment dated 07.07.2023 and in view thereof the present petition has been rendered infructuous.
