The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023with a prayer to direct the respondents to provide proper medical treatment to the petitioner who is suffering from various ailments.

Learned State counsel submits that a medical board comprising of Dr. Asish Chawla, Dr. Saurav Singla and Dr. Ankur Uppal was constituted by the Senior Medical Officer, Civil Hospital, Ludhiana and a medical report dated 05.09.2024 (Annexure R-1) has been filed by the board. The medial board advised the petitioner to undergo MRI Lumbosacral with whole spine screening from PGI, Chandigarh, which has been now conducted and the report is likely to be received on 25.09.2024. Learned State counsel submits that the petitioner shall be provided treatment as per the advise of the board of doctors.

In view of the statement made by the learned State counsel, nothing survives in the present petition and the present petition is accordingly disposed off.
