***** HARI PAL VERMA, J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for quashing of Criminal Complaint No.COMA-314-2016 titled as Usha Vs. Tarsem Lal & ors. under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act and summoning order dated 01.08.2016 passed by JMIC, Jalandhar.
Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is mother-in-law of the complainant. The son of the petitioner namely Rajeshwar, who was husband of the complainant, had died in an accident on 27.05.2015. The complainant is residing separately since 07.08.2015. The marriage between the complainant and Rajeshwar was solemnized on 28.2.2011 and a child was also born out of this wedlock, who is staying with the complainant.

Criminal Misc. No. M-38284 of 2019 -2At this stage, counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the trial Court to expedite the trial.
Considering the fact that the marriage of the complainant and Rajeshwar had taken place on 28.02.2011 and Rajeshwar had expired on 27.05.2015 and the complainant is residing separately since 07.08.2015, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the trial Court to expedite the trial and conclude the same preferably within nine months from today.
