 -, .) +    By way of present petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made for issuance of direction to the respondents for carrying out an impartial investigation in case FIR No.68 dated 30.07.2019 under Sections 307, 323, 325, 148, 149 IPC, and also General Diary Nos. 35 and 41 dated 22.08.2019 (Annexures P-7 and P-8 respectively) registered at P. S. Sujanpur, District Pathankot.

No one has appeared on behalf of petitioner even on the second call. Even, none appeared for the petitioner on the last date of hearing. Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Rajinder Kumar submits that investigation in the present FIR was concluded by way of filing challan against 8 accused in the trial Court on 23.07.2020 followed by framing of charges vide order dated 30.10.2020 and the trial is now fixed for 24.02.2023 for recording of the evidence of prosecution witnesses. Considering the fact that the charges were framed way back on 30.10.2020 and even after the expiry of more than 2 years and 3 months now, ANIL KUMAR 2023.02.07 10:34 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document



none of the prosecution witness has been examined so far, the trial Court is directed to conclude the trial preferably within a period of 6 months from today. Disposed of accordingly.
