(ORAL) Prayer in this Criminal Writ Petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus to official respondents No. 2 to 4, to protect the life and personal liberty of the petitioner from the hands of private respondents No. 5 to 10 and their accomplices. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at this stage, he would be satisfied if direction is issued to respondent No. 3-Senior Superintendent of Police, District Ludhiana (Rural), Punjab, to consider and take a final decision on the representation dated 26.05.2024 (Annexure P-2) moved by the petitioner, in a time bound manner. Notice of motion.

On the asking of Court, Mr. Kunwarbir Singh, AAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 4 and submits that he has 'no objection' in case the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner at this stage, is accepted.
