***** SANJIV BERRY. J. (Oral) By way of present petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR (Annexure P-1) as under:

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance to the order dated 15.09.2023 passed by this Court, the petitioner has already joined in the investigation.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from SI Paramjeet Singh, submits that the petitioner had joined in the investigation in the case and is no more required for further investigation. Learned State counsel further submits that the petitioner is no more required for any custodial interrogation in this case. 4.
Keeping in view the respective submissions made by learned State counsel and the fact that the petitioner had already joined the investigation and is no more required for further investigation nor he is required for any custodial SANDAL SHARMA 2023.09.30 11:18 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
N.C. No.2023:PHHC:127057 CRM-M-42511-2023 (O&M) -2interrogation, interim bail granted vide order dated 15.09.2023 is hereby confirmed in the present FIR No.162 dated 08.08.2023 under Section 61 of the Punjab Excise Act, 1914, Police Station Ajnala, District Amritsar subject to conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C, that the petitioner will come and join the investigation as and when so required; will not tamper with the evidence and will not leave the country without prior permission and will appear in Court on each and every date of hearing.
