JASWANT SINGH, J. (ORAL) Additional affidavit of Sadhna Sangar, Principal, Govt. College, Dera Bassi, dated 8.12.2018, on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 3, filed today in the Court, is taken on record. The two petitioners were engaged as Guest Faculty for the Session 2017-18, in the Department of Chemistry and Maths, Govt. College, Dera Bassi, District Mohali.

Grievance of the petitioners was that their services were being replaced by Guest Faculty teachers.

CWP-8056-2018 (O&M) At the time of hearing today, in the additional affidavit of Sadhna Sangar, Principal, Govt. College, Dera Bassi, dated 8.12.2018, on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 3, filed in the Court, it is stated that the petitioners did not fulfill the minimum eligibility condition of UGC (NET) passed and hence, were relieved at the end of the Session. That apart, it is stated that in place of the petitioners appointment of teachers on regular basis have been made. In view of the conceded position no further adjudication in the instant writ petition is required, the same is dismissed as having rendered infructuous.
