(Oral) Notice of motion, at this stage to respondents No. 1 to 3 only. At the asking of the Court, Mr. Adhiraj Singh, AAG, Punjab appears and accepts notice for the said respondents. Learned State counsel (on instructions from ASI Balwinder Singh) submits that the challan has been prepared by the police and approval thereupon has also been accorded by the competent authority & the same shall be presented within two weeks from today.

In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present petition with liberty to avail alternative remedy to the petitioner as available in law.
