(Oral) This petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents not to harass and humiliate the petitioner and to protect his right to life and liberty as police officials are calling him in the Police Station and are threatening to implicate him in a false case. 2.

Today, status report dated 06.09.2024 has been filed by learned State counsel, in Court today, which is taken on record. 3.

While referring to para No.8 of the aforesaid reply, learned State counsel points out that petitioner has neither been threatened by any police official nor is facing any threat to his life and liberty and during enquiry, matter was found to be of property/land dispute between the petitioner's sister and private respondent No.6, which is pending consideration.

Believing the stand of the State as taken in the status report, this Court is of the view that no issue is left for this Court to entertain in the petition regarding providing protection to the life and liberty of the petitioner.
