Vide order dated 21.07.2025 the present appeal was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court under the "Special Mediation Drive - Mediation for the Nation". Report of the Mediator has been received. As per the report of the Mediator, the matter stands settled between the parties vide settlement dated 22.08.2025. Accordingly, IOIN stands disposed off and the main case is taken on Board today itself. FAO-7495-2016 2.

As per terms of the settlement dated 22.08.2025 recorded before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court, the parties have settled the matter and respondent No.3-Insurance Company shall pay a consolidated amount of ₹4,18,000/- towards full and final settlement over and above the amount of compensation awarded by the Tribunal. FAO-7495-2016 (O&M) Company shall hand over account payee draft(s)/banker's cheque(s) to the claimant-appellant(s) within a period of 45 days and in the event of any delay thereof, the Insurance Company would be liable to pay interest @ 3% on the above amount.
