C.M. No. 4843-CII of 2015 The application is filed praying for permission to withdraw the main appeal in view of the compromise dated 14.2.2015 entered into between the parties.

Both the parties along with their respective counsel are present. We heard the submissions made by learned counsel appearing on either side.

We find that a sum of `20 lacs in the shape of an FDR in the name of minor daughter Himakshi has been received by the PARVINDER SINGH 2015.04.10 16:54 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

C.M. No. 4843-CII of 2015 and FAO-M-219 of 2014 appellant as per the averment found in the above application. In terms of the compromise arrived at between the parties, the remaining amount of `20 lacs in the shape of a bank draft was tendered in open Court by counsel for the respondent to counsel for the appellant and the same was accepted by the latter. As the matter has been compromised between the parties and the applicant has expressed his desire to withdraw the appeal, permission is granted. The application is allowed.
