(Oral) This is an application (CM No. 1733-CII of 2015) under Section 148 of the Code of Civil Procedure for grant of extension of time to comply with the order dated 25th July 2014, making the payment of `15,000/-, in favour of the respondent-wife, on account of litigation expenses.
Learned counsel for the appellant has produced a letter sent by speed post to the appellant-husband, which had been returned un-delivered. The same is taken on record. It was further urged by learned counsel for the appellant that despite the best efforts made by him, he is unable to contact the appellant and therefore, the Demand Draft of `15,000/- in terms of order dated 25th July, 2014, drawn in favour of the respondent-wife, on account of litigation expenses, cannot be produced.
Therefore, in view of the judgment dated 29th September, 2014, of this Court, passed in "FAO No. 7027 of 2014", titled as "Mohinder Verma Vs. Sapna", the application as well as the appeal stand dismissed.
