Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Punjab Roadways is plying buses on Nurpur Bedi to Nangal route without there being any regular permit allotted to Punjab Roadways, which is causing prejudice to the petitioner because he is also operating his stage carriage permit on the same route.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioner has already raised the said grievance in the legal notice dated 30.06.2025 (Annexure P-4), which is still pending consideration with the respondents and the petitioner will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a direction is issued to the respondents to decide the same by passing an appropriate speaking order in a time bound manner.

On the asking of the Court,Mr. Rahul Rampal, Additional

CWP-19955-2025 (O&M) -2Advocate General, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and submits that in case, legal notice dated 30.06.2025 (Annexure P-4) has been received by the respondents and the same is still pending consideration with the authorities concerned, the same will be decided by the respondents by passing an appropriate speaking order within a period of eight weeks from the date of the receipt of copy of this order. In case, it is found feasible to accept the claim of the petitioner, the same will be accepted, otherwise due reasons for not accepting the claim of the petitioner will be mentioned in the speaking order so passed which order will be conveyed to the petitioner for his information and necessary action. 6.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the statement of learned counsel for the respondents, the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further. 7.

It may be noticed that before deciding the Legal Notice dated 30.06.2025 (Annexure P-4), Punjab Roadways be also given the opportunity of personal hearing.
