ASHOK KUMAR VERMA, J. (ORAL) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 438 read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 857 dated 18.09.2022 registered under Section 61 of the Punjab Excise Act, 1914 (Haryana Amendment Bill, 2020) at Police Station Shahabad, District Kurukshetra.

On instructions from ASI Manoj Kumar, learned counsel for the State submits that pursuant to the order dated 30.09.2022 the petitioner has joined the investigation and is not required for custodial interrogation.
