MEHTA, J.(Oral) The instant petition has been preferred by the petitioner with the prayer that the investigation of the criminal case arisen out of FIR bearing No.0046 dated 10.03.2025 registered at Police Station City Rajpura, District Patiala, under Section 22 of the NDPS Act as well as Sections 25(6) and 25(7) of the Arms Act, be transferred to a Courtmonitored Special Investigation Team (SIT) headed by a Senior IPS Officer or to an independent Investigating Agency such as Punjab State Human Rights Commission or the same be got conducted under the supervision of a Judicial Officer.

Mr. Jastej Singh, learned Additional Advocate General, Punjab, has put in appearance on behalf of respondent No.1-State in this case in pursuance of the copy of the present petition having been sent to the YAG DUTT 2025.07.28 09:43 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CRM-M No.37883 of 2025 (O&M) -2said respondent in advance and on the instructions from ASI Gurmail Singh No.1963/PTL from Special Cell, Rajpura, he apprises the Court that the report was received from the FSL and the investigation had been concluded in the criminal case under reference and the Challan has already been presented in the competent Court and the afore-said case is scheduled to be listed before the trial Court on 19.07.2025 for framing of the charge. 3.

Keeping in view the above-discussed submission as made by learned State counsel, it becomes explicit that the petition in hand has been rendered infructuous.
