***** SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J.(ORAL) The jurisdiction of this Court has been invoked under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 for issuance of directions to the official respondent Nos.2 to 4 to conduct a free and fair investigation in FIR No.24 dated 05.02.2025, registered under Sections 305 of BNS, 2023 at Police Station Kartarpur, District Jalandhar, Rural.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he will be satisfied in case a direction be issued to respondent No.3 to look into the representation dated 04.03.2025 (Annexure P-3), within a time bound manner.

In view of the above, without commenting upon the merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3/Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar Rural to look into the representation dated 04.03.2025 (Annexure P-3) and decide the same in accordance with law within a period of four weeks by passing a speaking order.

A copy of order so passed be supplied to the petitioner within one week thereafter.
