The appellant-wife has challenged the divorce granted in favour of respondent-husband on the ground of cruelty and adultery. She has also challenged the denial of custody of her child Karanbir Singh. 2.

Panchayat compromise was produced by the counsel appearing on either side. Both the parties also were present in open Court. The contents of compromise were read over to them and they informed the Court that they have in fact compromised their matrimonial dispute. As per the compromise, the respondent tendered a sum of `2 lacs in cash and two gold bangles to the appellant-wife who accepted the same in the open Court as full and final settlement. The appellant-wife seeks permission to withdraw the appeal preferred as against the divorce granted in favour of the husband and the appeal preferred against the order declining the custody sought for by her, in view of the compromise struck between the husband and wife. Permission is granted.
