SUVIR SEHGAL, J. (Oral) CM-16520-CWP-2024 Application is allowed, as prayed for.

Annexure R-3 is taken on record.

CM-16521-CWP-2024 Prayer made in the application is for modification of order dated 19.09.2024, passed by this Court.

For the reasons given in the application, it is allowed. Order dated 19.09.2024, is modified, and shall be read as under:- "Learned counsel for the respondent - Union of India submits that the response was duly filed, however, the same is pending in the Registry on account of some objections.

-2At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had appeared before the concerned R.P.O. and submitted all the relevant documents and subsequent thereto, the police verification has also been conducted and to the information of the petitioner, there is nothing adverse against the petitioner and, therefore, he is hopeful that the passport shall be released in due course.

Only for compliance, let this matter be adjourned to 16.10.2024.

In the meantime, the response of the respondents be also filed.

It is made clear that in case, the respondents have any further query, the same shall be notified to the petitioner, who shall clarify the same."

CM-15983-CWP-2024 AND CM-15984-CWP-2024 For the reasons given in the applications, they are allowed. Short reply by way of affidavit filed on behalf of respondents No.1 and 2, is taken on record.

CM-16519-CWP-2024 AND CM-16520-CWP-2024 For the reasons given in the applications, they are allowed. Letter dated 20.09.2024, is taken on record as Annexure R-3. CWP-20500-2024 1.

By way of present writ petition filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has approached this Court inter alia for

-3issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to reissue the passport after making necessary correction in the particulars of passport issued to the petitioner.

Counsel for the respondent - Union of India submits that the passport has been issued to the petitioner.

In view of above development, counsel for the petitioner submits that the petition has become infructuous.
