The matter was sent before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre. Both the parties appeared before the Mediation Centre and settled their matrimonial dispute amicably. 2.
It is informed to the Court that the respondent has already paid a sum of `50 lakhs to the appellant as per the terms of settlement. Today, a sum of `50 lakhs in the shape of a bank draft was tendered by counsel for the respondent to counsel for the appellant, who received the same. FAO No. M-434 of 2014 agreed to be paid by the respondent to the appellant as per the settlement has been paid.

Both the parties have agreed to abide by the terms and conditions of the settlement entered into between them before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre. The respondent has undertaken not interfere in the personal life not only of the appellant but also of the daughter of the appellant.

In view of the development in this case, counsel appearing on either side have prayed that the appeal may be dismissed as withdrawn.

Permission is granted. The appeal stands dismissed as withdrawn.
