RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Petitioner has approached this Court praying for quashing the Bills, Annexure P-5, raising an illegal demand from the petitioner pertaining to water supply for the period 2006 to 2017 after 10 years, which have already been exempted vide Notification dated 11.07.2006, Annexure P-1, issued by respondent No.1 whereby all the residential units having plot area upto 5 marlas (125 sq.yards) situated within the limits of Municipalities in the State of Punjab were exempted from the payment of water supply and sewerage charges and the petitioner has constructed his house in the plot area having four marla purchased vide registered sale deed dated 22.09.2004, Annexure P-2. It is further prayed to direct the respondents not to issue any bill of water to the petitioner in future in view of the Notification dated 11.07.2006.
