Petitioners no.1 and 2 are the parents of Kamaldeep Singh who is married with Prabhjot Kaur while petitioners no.3 and 4 are the daughters. From the representation Annexure P-1, it appears that petitioner no.1 had some dispute with his son and daughter-in-law and apprehends danger to his life and liberty and that of petitioners from their hands. Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, Khanna to look into the grievance of petitioners about threat to their life and liberty, verify the same and take appropriate action in accordance with law.

However, it is made clear that the above order will not be interpreted as providing protection to petitioners from any action taken in any civil, criminal or any other proceedings initiated/pending against them in accordance with law.
