(Oral) Counsel for the appellant has apprised the court that settlement has been arrived at between the parties. They have already filed a petition under Section 13-B of the Act before the appropriate forum. Counsel for the respondent is agreeable to this.
We thus feel that in the present appeal no further adjudication is required. At this stage, counsel for the appellant submits that he may be allowed to withdraw the present appeal with liberty to seek revival in case any cause of action survives.
Dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as aforesaid. Needless to observe that parties shall be at liberty to seek waiver off the statutory period of six months in terms of the judgment of the Apex Court rendered in Amardeep Singh Vs. Harveen Kaur, 2017(4) R.C.R. (Civil) 608.
