RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Petitioners have approached this Court praying for directing official respondents to release the benefits to the petitioners as per Rule 4 of the Punjab Package Deals Properties (Disposal) Rules, 1976. Perusal of the file shows that time and again counsel for the petitioners has not appeared. On the last date of hearing, Welfare Officer, District Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare Department, Kaithal, Haryana, had filed the affidavit, however, neither petitioners nor their counsel was present and the case was adjourned for today, i.e. 25.04.2024. Even today no-one is present on behalf of the petitioners.

In view of the above position, the present petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. However, liberty is granted to the petitioners to get the case revived, if need arises.
