(Oral) Prayer in this petition is for issuance of directions to respondent No.2 to conclude the investigation in FIR No.179 dated 20.10.2000 under Sections 452, 506, 149, 295-A IPC, registered at Police Station Banga, District Nawanshahr (SBS Nagar) or in the alternative, to present the cancellation report dated 05.02.2001 with the Illaqa Magistrate.

Affidavit on behalf of the Senior Superintendent of Police, SBS Nagar, District SBS Nagar filed in the Court today is taken on record and as per the affidavit, the cancellation report has been prepared and submitted before the Illaqa Magistrate on 18.01.2020. Counsel for the State has also submitted that the trial Court has issued summons to the complainant for 08.02.2020. In view of the above, no further action is called for. Disposed of accordingly.
