By virtue of instant petition, preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the official respondents to consider and decide the pending claim of petitioner especially legal notice dated 10.01.2018 (P-3) for re-fixation of pensionary benefits/pay along with arrears, by notionally promoting the petitioner w.e.f. the date of promotion of his junior, in terms of Punjab Government decision dated 14.03.2017 (P-1) and grant all consequential benefits in terms thereof.

At the very outset of the arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner feels satisfied in case direction is issued to respondents to decide representation dated 16.10.2017 (P-2) followed by legal Sonika 2018.04.16 14:18 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

Instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents to look into the grievances unfolded by the petitioner in representation dated 16.10.2017 (P-2) and legal notice dated 10.01.2018 (P-3) and to decide the same in terms of service rules and instructions issued by government dated 14.03.2017 (P-1), within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
