Learned counsel submits that the arrears of financial assistance of the petitioner that are due to her w.e.f. 01.05.2023 have not been released, for which there is no justifiable reason forthcoming as also her entitlement tends from the fact that her mother having passed away on 02.11.2017, when she was aged 9 years, having date of birth as 13.10.2008 is presently 15 years old. Unfortunately, even her father passed away on 24.02.2024, had no one to look after her, as such the learned Principal Judge, Family Court has appointed a legal guardian, vide order dated 08.05.2024, Annexure P-2. In this regard, a representation dated 10.06.2024, Annexure P-5, followed by a reminder dated 09.08.2024, Annexure P-9, have been submitted however the same have yet not been decided. He thus, at this stage, on instructions, from the petitioner, prays that a direction is given to the respondents to decide the same in a time bound manner.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from from Mr. Vikram Singh, Assistant, o/o DEEO, Panchkula, submits that the matter of the petitioner is under active consideration and shall be decided within a period of 2 weeks, for which purpose, the legal guardian to attend the office of the HAMANT 2024.08.30 17:40 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment

This satisfies the learned counsel for the petitioner, who submits that an intimation has been received by the legal guardian to attend the office of the respondents tomorrow i.e. on 31.08.2024 and he shall appear. 4.

Disposed of, reserving the petitioner with a liberty to get it revived, in case need arises.
