Appellant had filed suit for declaration that he was entitled to the 16 and 24 years service ACP benefit, annual increments from 11/2000 to 11/2005, medical reimbursement of Rs.11836/-, and was liable to be considered for promotion as Lecturer in political Science from the date his junior was promoted. The suit filed by the appellant was dismissed by the trial Court vide judgment/decree dated 12.08.2010. The said judgment and decree were upheld by the First Appellate Court vide judgment/decree dated 08.03.2011 in an appeal filed by the appellant.

Learned counsel for the appellant has submitted that he may be permitted to withdraw the suit as the relief
