**** RAJAN GUPTA, J. (Oral) Counsel for the appellant seeks to place on record the affidavit of appellant - Kuldeep. According to same, he is ready to remit an amount of `7,50,000/-, as permanent alimony for full and final settlement of all claims of the respondent. A cheque for ` 2,00,000/- has been handed over to the respondent, who is present in court. Counsel for the appellant submits that remaining amount shall be paid in another two installments within a period of four months.
Both parties are agreed that they would present a petition under Section 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 (in short 'the Act') before the appropriate forum for dissolution of marriage by mutual consent. Counsel for the respondent submits that he shall also file an affidavit of the respondent in these terms.
In the eventuality, such a petition is filed before the competent court of law within one month from today, parties shall be at liberty to seek waiver off the statutory period of six months in terms of the judgment of the JAWALA RAM 2019.10.31 12:06 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
