The petitioner through instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondent to release gratuity and pension/ family pension 2.
The learned State Counsel as well as learned counsel for respondent-Bank submit that petitioner has already been released her entitled pension/family pension. There is nothing outstanding against the Bank or State Government. With respect to gratuity Mr. Gaurav Goel, Advocate submits that they have withheld gratuity to the tune of Rs.3,86,445/- on account of excess payment of pension. They have withheld said amount on account of letter dated 18.11.2024 received from DTO, Ferozepur.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner was never informed of withholding of gratuity on the ground of excess payment of pension.
