Versus
Jaspreet Kaur ... Respondent(s) CORAM : HON'BLE MRS. JUSTICE ALKA SARIN Present :
Mr. Yugank Goyal, Advocate for the petitioner. ALKA SARIN, J. (Oral) 1.
The limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the application for striking off the defense of the respondent has been pending since 2023 and repeatedly the case has been adjourned on the request of the learned counsel for the respondent. The learned counsel for the petitioner prays that the Family Court concerned be directed to dispose off the said application in a time-bound manner. 2.
I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.
From a perusal of the zimni orders it appears that unnecessary adjournments have been sought by the counsel for the respondent for addressing arguments on the application for striking off the defense. In view thereof, the Family Court concerned is requested to hear the arguments and conclude the same, in accordance with law, preferably within a period of one month from today.
4.
Disposed off accordingly. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
