Petitioner claims to have been appointed as a Beldar on 31.8.2000 with the Agriculture Department,Punjab. One Harwinder Singh was appointed on compassionate basis as Beldar on 24.8.2007. In the tentative seniority list of Beldars circulated on 4.6.2014 the date of joining of said Harwinder Singh was shown as 20.8.2000 and thereby placing him above the petitioner.

Petitioner filed CWP 18795/2017 against the seniority assigned to Harwinder Singh as also his promotion as Agriculture Sub Inspector. In the said petition, the Deputy Director conceded that date of joining of Harwinder Singh was 24.8.2007 instead of 20.8.2000. The said writ petition was disposed of vide order dated 2.11.2017 in view of the stand that the notice of reversion from the post of Agriculture Sub Inspector to Beldar had been issued to said Harwinder Singh.

In the present writ petition the claim is for a direction to frame the final seniority list of Beldars.

CWP 8906/2018 states that his client has subsequently filed CWP 28809/2018 through a different counsel concealing that a final seniority list of Beldars has been issued on 4.10.2018. In the said petition listed today itself challenge is to the assignment of petitioner below one Harish Kumar. Be that as it may, the main relief claimed in the instant writ petition stands satisfied by issuance of final seniority list on 4.10.2018 as admitted by petitioner in CWP 28809/2018.

Dismissed.
