Tribhuvan Dahiya, J (Oral) CM No.12838-CII of 2022 Application seeking exemption from filing certified copy as well as typed copy of Annexure P-1 to P-10, is allowed as prayed for. CR No.4167of 2022 This revision petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking direction to the trial court to expedite the trial in case CIS No.CS-140-2019 titled as 'Chaman Lal vs. Jatinder Kumar'. The short orders (Annexure P-10) passed by the trial court show that replication in the case was filed on 26.11.2020, however, the same was taken note of by the trial court after six adjournments on 13.12.2021. CR No.4167 of 2022 [2] A perusal of order dated 13.12.2021 shows that the petitioner-landlord's application for assessment of compensation/damages was taken up for consideration and adjourned to 10.02.2022. Thereafter, despite four adjournments, the application has not been considered by the trial court. As of now, case stands adjourned to 10.10.2022. It is, therefore, apparent that the case is being adjourned very casually by ignoring the fact that the suit for possession has been filed by a senior citizen, aged 74 years. In view of the aforesaid facts, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial and ensure that no unnecessary adjournments are granted to the parties.

Disposed of accordingly.
