(ORAL) Through this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India prayer has been made for issuance of direction to respondents No.2 to 5 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members from the hands of protesting farmers as they are agitating opposite the house of the petitioner and continuously threatening to kill the petitioner and his family members.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for direction to respondent No.3 to take a decision on the representation dated 11.11.2021 (Annexure P-1) filed by the petitioner. In view of the above, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to look into the representation (Annexure P-1) and to take necessary action, if required, in accordance with law.
